Ever felt like treating yourself to a homemade dessert of your choice, but you just don’t want to put in all that effort to make something? You’ve come to the right place! :D Even as a baker, there are days when I simply do not want to do a thing. Not even bake (gasp!). Having a sweet tooth doesn’t help the situation either lol. This is when you resort to this quick brownie in a cup recipe! It is so darn easy, you’d want to make brownie in a mug all the time! It is a quick fix to traditional brownie recipes that require pre-heating of the oven, mixing in all the ingredients, waiting for it to bake and then eating ALL of that all by yourself lol. Seems like a lot of work to me! This recipe is made in a microwave oven which takes away the pre-heating and it is made in a mug! I mean, what is more awesome than enjoying your treat and having fewer dishes to do afterwards? :D Also, I like to look at this single-serving brownie in a mug recipe as a good portion control tactic. ;) I found this recipe in 25+ Mug Cake Recipes Kindle edition book I found on Amazon. I used brown sugar instead of honey and increased its amount.

Here’s how to make this delicious brownie in a mug. Instantly! First, melt butter and chocolate chips in the microwave for 1 minute.

Stir until smooth.

Add milk and sugar. Stir until well incorporated.

Mix in all purpose flour, egg and walnuts (or any nuts of your choice).

My baby whisk was the most helpful for this! :D I love it! It is the perfect size to fit into brownie mugs and to do the job perfectly! :) Microwave on high for 3 minutes.

Voila! Instant chocolate brownie in a mug!

Top it off with a scoop of low-fat ice cream or frozen yogurt for a fully enhanced pleasurable experience :D[amd-zlrecipe-recipe:36]
