With this simple recipe, you can be as much or as little adventurous as you want. You can easily play up a theme by adding fun colors or flavors to this recipe.  Recipe shown here is a vanilla glaze, but you can add any flavor you please.

  1. Shouldn’t this be over low heat? Is there enough wet ingredient for the sugar to dissolve?

  2. This recipe does not require any heat. It forms a thick paste good enough for drizzling on or covering your baked goods. There’s just enough wet ingredient to make it flow-y. It does harden up on setting. If you want a softer glaze, maybe add another teaspoon of extract :)
